A lot of thought, discussion and prayer went into our decision to get married. Second marriages are tough - especially with kids. There are more people to be concerned about, naturally. Also, we are well aware that the honeymoon does not last forever, and that every relationship faces pitfalls that may either break the marriage apart, or cause it to be cemented stronger than ever.
For me, especially, the decision to get married took time. I remember praying to God about the perfect man for me! Honest, trustworthy, sensitive, a good father, good-looking, smart, a good heart, someone like my Dad. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I was working right alongside the man that God had chosen for me!
Jeff and I have been friends for years. I value his friendship as one of my most treasured relationships. Through his friendship and love, he was able to help me tear down the wall around my heart and help me to not only love again but to trust again. He is truly the perfect man for me.
